Workers' compensation is available if you suffer an injury. Injury includes illnesses, conditions and diseases caused, aggravated or accelerated by work. Certain work related psychological problems may also be covered.
The injury must arise out of or in the course of employment. Compensation claims may be available for injuries which occur:
· during breaks from work, even if you are away from the workplace
· during or after working hours but in situations which are connected to work
· while travelling to or from work (journey claims)
· while working at home
