Virtual Democracy Restored!

Thanks for your support for the workers compensation campaign. The response to this campaign has been overwhelming and has had a notable impact in Macquarie street. So much so that the volume of protest email generated from this site was overloading NSW Parliament's mail serving service.

The initial reaction from the departmental agents acting for the NSW Parliament (not Parliament itself) was to block email submissions made from these pages. This made the email generating form on this page redundant and so it was removed.

But after representations made by LaborNET to the President of the Legislative Council, Dr Meredith Burgmann, and the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, John Murray, on this issue, the email blockade was promptly lifted. So congratulations must go to both Meredith Burgmann and John Murray for acting so swiftly in the interests of virtual democracy.
