I have just been promoted, can I still belong to a union?

Yes. There is a union that covers every worker in Australia. Depending on what sort of promotion you have received and what industry you belong to you may have to change unions to still be covered. The best thing to do is contact your union and explain what you new position involves. If they are unable to cover you any longer then they should be able to tell you which union will.
