Discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation is illegal in Australia. You can not be discriminated against in the workplace (or anywhere else) because of your sexual orientation, whether you are single or in a relationship.
All Australian couples, regardless of gender or marital status, have equal rights under the law.
If you believe that you have been discriminated against because of your sexuality, or gender identity, then you are entitled to contact your union or the Equal Opportunity Commission in your state and file a complaint. Alternatively you should call the ACTU Helpline on 1300 362 223.
