I think I am getting paid less than the award or minimum wage, can this be correct?

It is possible that you could well be being paid less than the award or minimum wage, and it not be illegal. This could occur for example if you are a junior or trainee. However if you think you are getting paid less than the award or minimum, it would still be a good idea to check with your union, if you are a member, they can let you know what your correct pay and conditions are.
