My employer has not paid me for a while. What can I do about it?

If your employer has not paid you and you are a member of the union, then you need to contact your union who will then take the matter up on your behalf. If you are not a member of a union you should urgently contact the ACTU Helpline on 1300 362 223. Many employers stop paying their employees prior to closing the business or sacking employees. It is important to act quickly if your regular pay is not forthcoming.
