questions

What are my rights if my employer gives me a warning or threatens to sack me?

questions

If your employer has given you a written warning, you have the right to respond to that letter in writing. You are generally entitled to three written warnings before an employer can dismiss you.

If you are dismissed without being given the right to respond, then you may have been unfairly or unlawfully dismissed.

If you are still unsure of exactly what you should do or if you are not a member of a union, then contact the ACTU Helpline on 1300 362 223.

If you want to know more about your rights at work call the Unions Helpline 1300 362 223
