If you are a member of a union, get in touch with them. They will know exactly what you are entitled to and assist you to get them. If you have just been sacked or dismissed and are not a union member then your options will depend on what sort of job you had, how long you were there, whether or not you were full-time, part-time, or casual, as well as what award or agreement you come under. Every case will be different, but first you will need to consider whether or not you were instantly dismissed, what were the circumstances surrounding your dismissal and more.
