Tell your work story with hip hopDate: 25 March 2006
Tell your own story and the ACTU’s student web-site will put it to music. It's all part of the latest Worksite comp. Over 20,000 students visit the ACTU Worksite for Schools website each month.
Students asking more questions on workers' rightsRecent changes to IR laws have prompted students to ask more questions than ever before on workers’ rights and the role of unions and Worksite provides students’ with information on the wide world of work.Worksite's latest competition Work - what's your story? asks students to share their ideas on work.
ACTU wants to know students' views about workWhether you work after school or the weekend, have done work experience or have some good ideas about work and workers' rights - the Worksite competition wants to know all about it.What do you do at work? Who do you meet? Is it fun? What's good and what's bad about work? Tell us your story. If you don't have a job, tell us your ideas on work, about a dream job, or how you feel about getting your first job. In the winners' circleTry rhyming your working words and listen to the rhythm they make when said out aloud - the winner will get the chance to have their entry recorded as a hip-hop Worksite podcast.
