Tip Top work returnDate: 12 September 2001
Mass meetings of LHMU Tip Top workers - at three major sties in NSW - today voted to return to work tomorrow. " All our bread industry members will return together in an orderly manner," Mark Boyd, NSW LHMU Assistant Secretary said. " An attempt to get the Tip Top drivers to return to work tonight has been unanimously rejected by LHMU members. " We are united in our cause, we will not be divided." Earlier in the day the Industrial Relations Commission ordered the drivers to return to work. The union expects further talks with Tip Top, over their enterprise agreement, to be held within the next few days. The LHMU proudly represents more than 150,000 hard working women and men throughout Australia. For further info: Mark Boyd, LHMU 0425 214 755
