Ansett AIRC case deferredDate: 19 September 2001
The Ansett unions' case in the Australian Industrial Relations Commission has now beeen deferred until 10am Tuesday 25 September 2001. The deferral of the case follows a "consent application" by the parties involved. Unions representing Ansett workers are urging Air New Zealand to use the deferral to reconsider their position and approach to the collapse of Ansett. Unions are encouraging Air New Zealand to work with unions and the administrator to find a solution once the case reconvenes next Tuesday.
