Ansett workers to hit the streetsDate: 19 September 2001
Hundreds of Ansett workers are set to hit the streets of Melbourne tomorrow seeking pledges from the public that "I'll Fly Ansett". ASU members will be approaching members of the public at Melbourne Central, Bourke Street Mall, the Royal Melbourne Agricultural Show and several local shopping centres. The workers will be seeking signatures on a pledge which will be sent to Ansett Administrators Anderson Consulting. The pledge is designed to show the Administrator that there is sufficient public support for the airline to allow a resumption of flight services. TAKE ACTION: Ansett workers around Australia are encouraged to assist in the collection of pledges from the public. Why not download the pledge now and head out into your local crowded public place and start signing up supporters. Click here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ansettworkers/files/i%27llflyansett.pdf
