PRESS RELEASE Fiji TUC tells Business Lobby to talk to G.Speight about the hostages rather than campaign to lift Australian bans
We understand this lobby is being addressed for the garment manufacturers whose only interest at this time is to remain in business as usual. They do not understand the intricacies of what citizens of Fiji are facing at this difficult hour. In the current situation with the martial law in place the Fiji-Australia Business Council and Mr Porter is advised to speak to Mr G. Speight and the thugs to release the hostages and return Fiji to parliamentary democracy and the reinstatement of the 1997 Constitution Mr Porter living in the comfort of environment of Australia must understand the situation in Fiji (signed) President: Daniel Urai All correspondence to be addressed to the National Secretary
