Hold Up Leads to Union Action at MBFDate: 26 October 2000
The Australian Services Union (Clerical & Admin) has called for urgent action to increase security measures in MBF Offices following another robbery involving MBF Staff members yesterday. ASU Branch Secretary Michael Want has called for a tightening of security following the incident at the Chatswood Office of MBF yesterday morning. "According to a witness who was in the Office at the time, a man lept from the queue and grabbed the staff member from behind. He then forced her to empty her till," said Michael Want.
