The National Union of Students is today hosting 15 rallies across NSW of students and staff angry at rising fees, corporate interference and youth allowance payments you can't feed a dog on.

Students are ditching class and getting onto the streets to demand improved education.

What: 15 rallies across NSW
When: 5 April
Where: all campuses, With two main rallies
1. Victoria Park, City 1.30pm
2. UWS Campbelltown Campus, 12pm

Why:
- Corporations and students now provide more funding to universities than
government do
- $3 million dollars has been taken out of universities for every day the
Howard Government has been in office.
- The full rate of Youth Allowance is 52% of the Poverty Line, while you
have to be 25 to be considered independent from your parents.
- Staff are being sacked and casualised left, right and centre.
