Overview:

The 3 year position will be responsible for the Nurses Return To Work in Hospitals Project,being managed by the ANF(VB). The Project Officer will be part of the ANF's dynamic OHS Team.The project is directed to meaningful,productive and safe return to work for nurses who experience workplace injury or illness.The project will be implemented by the ANF in partnership with the Victorian Hospitals' Industrial Association(VHIA).

Job Description:

The Project Manager will manage the Project,under the co-ordination of the ANF Project Managers.This is a full-time fixed term position.

The Project involves:1.Identification of barriers to and factors for successfulRTW for nurses.2.RTW programs with 7 pilot hospitals.3.Development of Best Practice Guidelines,case studies,information on duties and support,training materials and implementation recommendations.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential:

1.Relevant tertiary qualifications

2.Experience in and sound knowledge of OHS,Workers" compensation & RTW

3.Experience in project work & management

4.experience in high level workplace & industry consultation

5.experience in research & report writing

6.excellent verbal & written communication skills

7..competent with computers & word processing systems

8..able to work in a supervised team environment & independently

9.display initiave & sound time management skills

10hold a current Victoria driver's licence with acess to a registered vehicle.

4.understanding of the broader Industrial Relations context in which OH&S operates

Salary:

$65,988 commencement.Classification is RN Award 4B(non charge nurse)Year 1,thereafter Year 2
