| Job Description: |
Union Advocate
Working as part of the Advocacy Unit, you will be responsible for providing members with high quality advice and support in disputes, including representing members to management and negotiating solutions to problems.
There are no formal pre-requisite qualifications for this role, however previous experience with the law, in an advocacy role, or as a union delegate would be an advantage.
Field Organiser
Working as part of one of our Field Organising Units, you will be responsible for encouraging workers to join the Union, act collectively for better working conditions and solutions to issues. You will do this by visiting workplaces, recruiting members and workplace leaders, and developing their confidence and skills.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
Both positions would suit people with good communication and presentation skills, a demonstrated dedication to the principles of trade unionism, and the ability to work in a flexible way.
|
|
| Desired: |
Experience in a similar role with a union or other campaign organization, or as a Union delegate, is an advantage.
|
|
| Salary: |
$47,000 - $55,000 + 15% super + 9 day fortnight.
|
