The position involves:
Organising, representing and recruitment of union members Negotiation, minor dispute resolution and liaising with employers and their advocates Working as part of a dynamic industrial team Responsibility for allocated industries Managing a challenging workload.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
The successful applicant must possess:
Experience in organising membership in the industrial arena Strong commitment to the principles of unionism and Labor Preparedness to be accountable for their workload Knowledge of contemporary industrial relations, legislation and practices Computer literacy.

| Desired: |
Appropriate tertiary education is a desirable attribute.
