The IEUA-QNT Branch is a union representing more than 14,400 teacher, school officer and services staff members in non-government education institutions throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory.
Applications are sought for a Union Organiser based in Darwin.

| Job Description: |
The duties of the Union Organiser include:
. recruiting and encouraging member activism . developing workplace strategies in conjunction with members . conducting training courses . representing union members in negotiations . providing advice and support for union members.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
Applicants should have effective reporting and communication skills.
|
|
| Desired: |
An education background will be favourably considered.
Knowledge of current industrial relations issues is desirable.
|
|
| Salary: |
$52,647.90 p.a. to $58,245.00 p.a. depending on experience and qualifications. A salary of up to $70,993.00 may be available for an outstanding applicant.
