The LHMU is a leading national union. The New South Wales Branch seeks to appoint a suitably skilled and experienced person as a Research/Industrial Officer.

| Job Description: |
The successful applicant will be responsible for negotiating with employers, drafting documents, representing the LHMU in industrial tribunals, provision of information and advice and supporting the work of Organisers in the field by providing technical and industrial support. You will also need to be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Strong skills in agreement making and negotiation are essential to this position as is an understanding of legislation and the industrial relations context. Legal qualifications are not essential.

Remuneration will be in accordance with the LHMU conditions of employment.
