The FSU is the trade union for the banking, insurance and finance industry. We are looking for an Advocate to join our Sydney Office for a fixed term contract which will conclude late October 2009.

| Job Description: |
You will be responsible for providing members with high quality advice and support in disputes, including representing members to management and negotiating solutions to problems.
|
| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
The position would suit a person with good communication and presentation skills, a demonstrated dedication to the principles of trade unionism and the ability to work in a flexible way.
|
|
| Desired: |
There are no formal pre-requisite qualifications for this role, however previous experience or a background in law, advocacy or as a union delegate would be an advantage.
|
