The Association of Professional Engineers, Scientists and Managers, Australia (APESMA) is an employee association and registered union covering a range of professionals including, pharmacists, surveyors, architects and IT. We have a national staff of 110 and offices in each capital city. APESMAs national membership is approx 25,000 strong. An opportunity has arisen to become part of the team at an exciting time in the life of this leading organisation. Much of our recruitment activity is directed towards university students who are about to graduate and young professionally qualified employees. | Job Description: |
Membership Recruitment Officer The successful applicant will undertake membership recruitment and provide industrial information to young professionals. You will need to be enthusiastic and have a genuine interest in promoting the services of an association of professional employees. This full time position is well suited to a student or recent graduate in engineering, industrial relations or arts and will give you the opportunity to kickstart and grow your career.

| Essential: |
This role will allow you to show and further develop:
Excellent communication and organisational skills High standard of sales and customer service Self motivation
A drivers licence is essential.

Experience in public speaking is desirable.

| Salary: |
A salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
