The NTEU is seeking a degree qualified accountant who is hands-on and can work in a team environment.

| Job Description: |
Reporting directly to the Finance Coordinator you will be involved in a variety of activities including end of month journals, general ledger reconciliations, preparation of reports, analysis of budgets and operating results, preparing the Group BAS, assisting with statutory returns, ongoing development of accounting systems and controls, liaison with auditors and others within the Union and Finance Unit.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
You will be a highly organised individual with meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and with the persistence to ensure that tasks are followed through to completion. You must be able to prioritise your workload and meet strict deadlines. Ideally you will have prior experience and a working knowledge of MYOB, Excel and Microsoft Office.

| Salary: |
The appointment will be made at NTEU Level 5 ($56,061 - $60,611) or Level 6 ($63,291
- $69,385) depending on qualifications and experience, with an additional 17% Employer Superannuation contribution.
