AMWU

The AMWU is one of the largest manufacturing unions in Australia. We represent members in the metals trades, printing, paper industry, vehicle industry, food and confectionary as well as technical trades and professions.

We currently have a part time position available for someone interested in getting involved in the union movement.

You must be able to work a minimum of 3 evenings a week Mon - Thurs, 4pm - 8pm.

The position involves making outbound calls to members in relation to some of the following:

* Conducting surveys with members on the current industrial climate and specific to their workplace

* Following up on member dues that have fallen a little behind.

*G eneral outbound campaigns as per needs of the AMWU.

* Using AMWU Databases and Intranet Information resources.

Tertiary qualifications, or study toward a qualification, in Industrial Relations, Social Sciences or Economics and / or equivalent experience is desirable.

This is a permanent part time position, $20.50p/hr + super
