The LHMU Union Rights Centre is a team of dedicated officials with expertise in resolving problems in the workplace.
URC Advocates provide high quality industrial advice and representation on behalf of LHMU members in industries such as cleaning, security, hospitality, childcare and manufacturing.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
Qualifications & experience
A basic working knowledge of the Australian industrial relations system is required. Experience in grievance handling, advocacy or representation would be a plus.
The successful applicant should be passionate about working in the interests of low paid workers and have a desire to be part of a progressive Union.

| Desired: |
Advocacy experience before boards, tribunals or Courts is not essential, but would be beneficial, as would some experience working in a trade Union or legal/industrial organisation.
