| Overview: |
The NSW Fire Brigade Employees Union (FBEU), which covers professional firefighters across NSW is looking for two Information and Advice Officers to join its main office based in Surry Hills (near Central Station).
|

| Job Description: |
The Information and Advice Officers will be responsible for the provision of a wide range of services to FBEU members. These services include the provision of accurate industrial information and workplace advice, answering phone calls, responding to emails and faxes received at the Union's office fax and email addresses and updating union databases. The position holders will also be required to assist industrial and administrative staff in other roles as required.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
It is essential that the successful applicants have a commitment to the principles of the trade union movement, excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to effectively use a computer, including word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
|
|
| Desired: |
Whilst not essential, applicants with a degree in industrial relations &/or experience in the interpretation of industrial awards and agreements are encouraged to apply.
|
|
| Salary: |
A salary of between $51433 and $58863 is offered (subject to skills and experience).
|
|

Information: |
The successful applicants will also enjoy a nine day fortnight and generous leave and superannuation entitlements.
