If so we have one full time temporary Organiser position with the Finance Sector Union New South Wales/ACT Branch.

What is the FSU?

The Finance Sector Union exists to promote, improve and protect the working conditions and entitlements of its members within the finance industry. As an Organiser for the FSU, you will be directly involved with lobbying to improve working conditions for staff in the finance sector.

The Role

• The successful candidate will need to be able to recruit, develop and train workplace representatives and recruit finance workers;

• You will need to be able to think laterally and develop unorthodox methods of recruitment and gaining access into workplaces;

• The successful applicant for the Organiser positions will be working within one of the retail field teams within the NSW/ACT Branch.

To be considered for this role you need
• A commitment to and enthusiasm for trade unionism
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and negotiations skills
• An ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
• Knowledge of contemporary industrial relations issues and practices and industry or trade union experience will be highly regarded.

A salary from $48,769 is offered with increase up to $56,994 with experience and qualifications. The FSU also offers other excellent working conditions including employer superannuation contributions of 15% and a 9 day /70 hour fortnight.
