A vacancy has arisen for a Membership Service Officer (MSO) working in the Unions Membership Service Centre located in Melbourne.
The centre - known as NUW ASSIST is a new intaitive commissioned by the Union in 2007.

| Job Description: |
The MSO is responsible for providing quick and accurate information and advice over the telephone on a range of industrial issues to members of the Union.
The MSO will be expected to respond to and manage member quesries and grievances as well as liase with other officials of the Union in co-ordinating industrial campiagns and generally assiting them with their duties
The MSO works with other service officers as part of a team.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
Demonstrated ability to use and operate computers and software such as Windows is highly desirable
A commitment and passion for the objectives of the trade union movement is a must.
The successful candidiate will be provided with all necessary training.

| Salary: |
Upon commencement $40,293 per annum
|
