Overview:

The Finance Sector Union, National Office is seeking to fill the position of Member Rights Centre Team Leader.

The MRC Team Leader will report to the Head of Contact Centres and will be responsible for the direct supervision of the Industrial Information and Advice Officers within the Member Rights Centre.

Job Description:

The MRC Team Leader will be responsible for providing support to the Industrial Information and Advice Officers in the performance of their role and will be responsible for the allocation and management of work to ensure that service standards are met including the preparation of work rosters. The successful applicant will also be required at times to fulfill the duties of an Industrial Information and Advice Officer.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential:

The MRC Team Leader will have a demonstrated capacity to manage people, excellent written and verbal communication skills and will be able to perform under pressure both independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of contemporary industrial relations issues, industrial awards, agreements and laws applicable in the finance sector is essential, together with a commitment to the principles of organised labour and unionism.

Salary:

A salary from $65,028 to $71,468 is offered dependent on experience and qualifications. The FSU also offers other excellent working conditions including employer superannuation contributions of 15%.
