The position itself involves:
-Organising, representing and recruitment of union members -Negotiation, dispute resolution and liaising with employers and their advocates -Represenation before relevant Industrial Commissions and Tribunals -Working as part of a dynamic Industrial team -Responsibility for an allocated territory -Managing a challenging workload.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
-Experience in organising membership in the industrial arena -Strong commitment to the principles of unionism -Competency in negotiating agreements and other industrial instruments -Ability to represent members in Unfair dismissals -Preparedness to be accountable for workload -Knowledge of contemporary industrial relations, legislation and practices -Computer literacy.
