Overview:

The NSW Nurses Association is a trade union, which represents the industrial, professional and legal interest of nurses and midwives in NSW.

We seek a Membership Services Clerk to be part of the Membership Services team.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative and clerical support relating to membership processing and ensure a high level of customer service.

Job Description:

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate their ability to update and maintain the membership database, process payments by cheque, money order, credit card, direct debit and cash as well as process, allocate and produce reports for Payroll Deductions (PRDs).

The position is also responsible for providing information and assistance to members regarding their membership by telephone and in writing.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential:

To be successful in this role, the applicant should be proficient in a Microsoft Windows environment and be able to demonstrate accurate data entry skills. Comprehensive experience with membership databases and processing is essential.

The candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate a willingness to learn. The ability to be self motivated and to work within a multi-disciplinary role with minimal supervision as well as part of a team are essential.

The Membership team currently provides coverage to our members from 8.30am until 7pm, Monday to Friday. You will be required to participate in a roster arrangement in which you will be required to work the afternoon shift.
