Overview:

The ASU is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to work in our Membership Office. Your primary responsibility will be to provide administration support relating to membership processing using our membership database and ensure high level of customer service.

Job Description:

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate their ability to update and maintain the membership database, process payments, allocate and produce reports for payroll deductions (PRDs). Maintain accuracy and integrity of data, extract data for standard reports and ad hoc reports as required. Ensure functions are carried out in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with Union policy and procedures. The position is also responsible for providing information and assistance to members regarding their membership by telephone and in writing.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential:

To be successful in the role you must address the following selection criteria:
Demonstrated data entry skills with proven accuracy & speed Demonstrated highly developed computer skills in Microsoft Office Demonstrated experience with a membership data base Ability to provide excellent customer service, particularly in a membership environment Capacity to work as a team member and to contribute to the goals of the organisation Ability to meet deadlines in a high volume work environment Ability to devise work plans to meet the completion of required tasks Capacity to be flexible and preparedness to meet organisational requirements Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with management, staff, members and external organisations Excellent telephone and reception skills.

$45,711 - $49,770
