| Job Description: |
This role works primarily within the Membership Team of CPSU and is responsible for providing administration support to the Membership Team, Receptionist and Administration Manager.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
To provide effective, efficient and timely administrative support services to CPSU.
Skills required:
Computer skills, including the ability to use computerised databases Interpersonal skills, verbal communication and the ability to deal with people that may be under stressful situations.
Ability to work in an office team environment.

| Desired: |
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.Reception relief, plus receptionist absences, determined by internal or external factors.
2.The creation of individual files for new and existing CPSU members.
3.Receipting of subscription income daily and appropriate adjustments to membership database records.
4.Attending to banking income and attend to other matters with CPSU bankers, for example cashing petty cash cheques.
5.Forwarding to members movie rewards on a weekly basis 6.Updating and creating correspondence to members using MUST (Modern Union Software Tool) / Microsoft Word relating to credit card expirations, Industrial Organisers workplace visits and member resignations.
7.Forwarding to new members on a weekly basis a new member kit.
8.Ensuring that kitchenette (waiting area) for members attending meetings at CPSU is kept in a clean, presentable state and stocked with appropriate items, ie: coffee, sugar, tea, milk etc. on a daily basis 9.Responsibility to ensure that all meeting rooms are clean, presentable for member meetings and are stocked with appropriate items, ie: coffee, sugar, tea, milk etc. in accordance with use as directed by CPSUs scheduling software.
10.Collection of external catering on an ad hoc basis as requested by work colleagues.
11.Assist Membership Team members with member events as required.
12.Perform other CPSU administrative duties as required.

| Salary: |
$34,892 - $37,040. Salary is determined on level of skills and experience.

Your application should include a resume and two references Due to the role responsibilities of the Administration Support Officer the successful applicant must be able to be available 9am to 5pm Tuesday to Friday, and from 8:30am to 4:30pm on Mondays.
