Overview:

The NSW Nurses Association seeks a Help Desk/IT Support person based in our Camperdown office to provide technical support (including remotely over the phone), advice and training for 135+ users in a Microsoft Windows environment.

You will also be involved in the configuration and administration of desktop PCs, Laptops Pocket PCs, Printers, Video Projectors, network hardware, software and all other IT infrastructure.

Job Description:

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate their ability to provide support to end-users and troubleshoot problems with networks and desktop PCs, Laptops, Pocket PCs, video conferencing equipment and software. You will have the ability to assist with the upgrading and replacement of existing software and hardware.

You will be assisting with the administration and installation of equipment as well as the maintenance of hardware and software. You will also be involved in the regular maintenance and upkeep of the Associations web and intranet sites.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential:

Experience with Operating Systems, Software Applications, IT hardware, Networks and Infrastructure and Web and Internet development and maintenance is essential.

To be successful in this role, the applicant should be able to demonstrate advanced problem solving, project management and time management skills.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to be self motivated and to work with minimal supervision as well as part of a small team are essential.
