Job Description:

The United Services Union has 33,000 + members and represents local government, energy, airline and clerical and administrative employees throughout NSW and the ACT.

Our (your) mission is to protect the rights, benefits, interests and welfare of members and to uphold and promote the principles of industrial democracy.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential:

The successful candidate must:
Have a commitment to the principles of trade unionism Be able to negotiate industrial workplace agreements Have the ability to organise, recruit and plan effective campaigns Be able to analyse and resolve industrial conflict Must have outstanding communication to be truly effective in this role Must have highly developed interpersonal skills, underpinned by a lucid writing style and the ability to articulate your point of view.

Desired:

The salary for the role is between $1,158 and $1,323 plus super. A vehicle is supplied for field work which allows for private use in line with the Unions Conditions of Employment.
