If the answer is yes, the FSU is looking for an Advocate to join our New South Wales/ACT Office on a full-time permanent basis.

| Job Description: |
You will be responsible to the Secretary for providing members with high quality advice and support in disputes, including representing members to management and negotiating solutions to problems.
|
| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
This position would suit someone with excellent communication and presentation skills, a demonstrated dedication to the principles of trade unionism and the ability to work in a flexible way. A commitment to and enthusiasm for trade unionism is essential.
|
|
| Desired: |
There are no formal pre-requisite qualifications for this role, however previous experience or a background in law, advocacy or as a union delegate would be an advantage.
|
|
| Salary: |
A salary from $50,720 is offered with increase up to $59,274 with experience and qualifications. The FSU also offers other excellent working conditions including employer superannuation contributions of 15% and a 9 day /70 hour fortnight.
