An excellent opportunity exists for a full-time Legal Officer to join the National Office of The Australian Workers’ Union (AWU).
The successful candidate must have excellent research skills, attention to detail and possess the ability to liaise and negotiate effectively with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

| Job Description: |
The AWU’s national Legal Office is responsible for overseeing and providing advice related to Employment and Industrial Relations matters.
The responsibilities of the position include advice, representation and advocacy for our members on a wide range of industrial and employment law matters.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
Applications from Legal Officers with varying experience are welcome, including final year law students.
Legal qualifications and/or experience in industrial relations will be regarded favorably.
