LHMU - National Office |
 |
| Overview: |
With countries around the world entering into recession as a result of the global financial crisis, workers are more than ever in need of a strong voice. The LHMU is looking for a research analyst who wants to make a difference by contributing to our campaigns to win respect, fair treatment and justice for our members.
As Australias largest service workers union, many of LHMUs members work in low-wage, unstable industries that will be hit hard by the current crisis including the hospitality, property services and manufacturing industries. Our childcare members are already feeling the effects of the collapse of Australias biggest childcare provider, ABC Learning. We are looking for a research analyst who can help to research and understand our industries and companies so that we are able to run worker-driven campaigns that will achieve positive change and build the type of fair and just society that we believe in.
