| Job Description: |
The main focus of this position is to:
Conduct university student recruitment programs Conduct & participate in student conversion into membership programs,
as well as undertaking organising work through
Development & implementation of organising plans in designated workplaces; and Identification & development of workplace representatives.
Where required, the organiser will also assist in negotiations & represent member interests, involving provision of assistance and advice to individuals and groups of members.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
You must have a commitment to trade union principles and your application must address the specification for this position.
|
|
| Salary: |
An attractive salary commensurate with experience, will be negotiated. Other conditions include a 35 hour week and an RDO each month.
|
|
Additional
Information: |
Some after hours work and occasional intra and inter state travel will be required.
