| Overview: |
Are you interested in producing high level communications materials for a trade union aimed at making a positive difference for finance sector workers?
If the answer is yes, the FSU is seeking to appoint a temporary Communications Production Officer to its Communications and Policy Team in Sydney for a temporary period of 8 months commencing in July 2009.

| Job Description: |
You will provide support, editorial advice and creative input in relation to the development and production of communication and marketing material and will manage and co-ordinate the distribution of the Union's publications. You will also be responsible for drafting web based copy that maximises the Union's exposure via search engines.
|
| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
The successful applicant will have an understanding of the industrial and political realities confronting the union and its members together with excellent written and visual communications skills. Knowledge of web based communication applications and publications design and layout is essential as is a practical working knowledge of Adobe Indesign software.

| Salary: |
A salary between 50,000 - 58,000 per annum (pro rata) is offered subject to negotiation.
