QIEU is a union representing over 14,500 teacher, school officer and services staff members in non-government education institutions throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory.
Applications are sought for a full-time Organiser position based in Brisbane.

| Job Description: |
The duties of this full-time position include:
-recruiting and encouraging member activism.
-developing workplace strategies in conjunction with members.
-conducting training courses.
-representing union members in negotiations.
-providing advice and support for union members.
|
| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
Applicants should have effective reporting and communication skills.
|
|
| Desired: |
An education background will be favourably considered.
Training will be provided to the successful candidate.
|
|
| Salary: |
A salary package dependent on qualifications and experience will be determined. (Salary range $57,217.76 - $84,555.65 p.a.)
