About FairWear
FairWear is a coalition of churches, community organisations and unions. Over 30 organisations are involved nationally. FairWear addresses the gross exploitation of workers who make clothing in the Australian clothing and fashion industry.
It is a consumer and worker focused organisation, encouraging and supporting consumers to ask for better conditions for the workers who make their clothes, and for greater consumer choice in ethical clothing, and providing education, training and advocacy to clothing outworkers to help them better understand their workplace rights.
