The Australian Professional Engineers, Scientists and Managers Association (APESMA) is the union that represents the industrial, professional and legal interests of Engineers, Scientists, Managers, Pharmacists and other professionals.

In this role you will:

XTalk with APESMA members and potential members about the issues in their workplaces XIdentify, support and develop workplace representatives and activists XAssist in the planning and implementation of campaigns that build the strength of the union and deliver good industrial outcomes XCreate sustainable organising structures and recruit new members.

XParticipate in Enterprise Bargain campaigning.

Job Description:

We are looking for someone who has a demonstrated commitment to trade union values and previous experience working on campaigns either in a community, political or union setting. You will need excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with and influence people. You will also need some knowledge of the federal industrial relations system, computer literacy / keyboard skills and a current drivers licence.
