The Alliance is looking for a National Claims officer to fill a maternity leave postion.
|
|
| Job Description: |
The successful applicant would represent members in workplace and other legal issues, including being an advocate in the Industrial Relations Commission, Fair Work Australia and the Chief Industrial Magistrates Court.
A belief in unions and fairness in the workplace is essential. The application would need to demonstrate advocacy skills, which may have been developed in a variety of backgrounds. Experience in advocacy before industrial tribunals is also desirable.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
3 years work experience in an industrial relations position (organiser/industrial officer etc).
|
|
| Desired: |
3 years working in an industrial relations position. Debt recovery experience, a high level of knowledge of industrial relations issues and a sound knowledge of industrial legislation including recent changes. Strong interpersonal communication skills, formal negotiation skills, and advocacy experience in the Industrial Relations Commission and Chief Industrial Magistrates court.
