The Media, Entertainment & Arts Alliance (The Alliance) is the union and professional organisation which covers everyone working in the media, entertainment, sports and arts industries.
The QLD branch of the Alliance is looking to fill the key full-time position of Organsier.

| Job Description: |
As an Organiser with the Alliance you will focus on strategic campaigning aimed at organising workers in the QLD crew, entertainment and media industries, growing union membership and developing members and activists.
|
| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate initiative, excellent communication, negotiation skills and success in campaigning and hold a current drivers licence. Understanding of union communication frameworks and planning strategies.
|
|
| Desired: |
Past experience working in the media or communications industries is desirable but not a prerequiste. Experience in the trade union movement and/or knowledge of the industries and the legal framework of people working in the industry.
|
|
| Salary: |
Dependant upon skills and experience.
|

The position is full-time, based in the Alliance's QLD office in South Brisbane.
