NSW 'ORGANISING WORKS' TRAINEESHIP 2010
The Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) is offering an amazing opportunity to work for the Australian Union Movement, while completing a comprehensive training program. Each year, the ACTU offers a limited number of traineeships to graduates and activists, so this is your chance to get involved in the union movement. In 2010, we have two NSW unions specifically seeking new employees in the public service and the media and entertainment sector.

| Job Description: |
The traineeship encompasses on-the-job training with a union, and formal training via a ten (10) month Certificate IV course delivered by the ACTU. Positions are available in NSW only.

We are seeking people who are committed to pursuing the rights of all working Australians, whether young or old, male or female, or from a culturally or linguistically diverse background. If you answer yes to any of the following questions, make sure you apply:

| Salary: |
Please note that, although some unions do pay trainee wages, many pay higher rates of pay.
