The Finance Sector Union, NSW/ACT Branch is seeking to appoint a temporary Lead Organiser to one of it's Field teams to backfill a maternity leave absence.
|

| Job Description: |
The Lead Organiser will be responsible for the leadership and co-ordination of a small team of field organisers in the execution of plans centered on the growth of the union's strength and influence in the workplace and securing collective agreements in locally targeted companies. The successful applicant will also contribute to the co-ordination of branch activities generally through the Team Leader group.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
A commitment to and enthusiasm for trade unionism is essential, together with excellent communication skills to effectively represent the Union to members and potential members. Knowledge of contemporary industrial relations laws, issues and practices is essential. Negotiation skills are a distinct advantage.

| Salary: |
A salary from $67,629 is offered with increase up to $74,327 with experience and qualifications. The FSU also offers other excellent working conditions including employer superannuation contributions of 15% and a 9 day /70 hour fortnight.
