Queensland Independent Education Union (QIEU)

QIEU is a union representing over 15,000 teacher, school officer and services staff members in non-government education institutions throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory.

The duties of this full-time position include:

- recruiting and encouraging member activism.

- developing workplace strategies in conjunction with members.

- conducting training courses.

- representing union members in negotiations.

- providing advice and support for union members.

Applicants should have effective reporting and communication skills.

An education background will be favourably considered

$57,217.76 - $84,555.65 p.a. A salary package dependent on qualifications and experience will be determined.
