The Finance Sector Union is the union for Australia's bank, insurance, credit union, super and finance industries. We are seeking to employ a full-time Lead Organiser for our Victorian/Tasmanian Branch.

| Job Description: |
Reporting to the Branch Secretary, the Lead Organiser is responsible for leading, developing and coaching a team of Organisers within the retail team. The successful applicant will provide direct and practical coaching, mentoring and support in the context of the implementation of organising plans, including the development of programs designed to maximise performance and recruitment outcomes.
The Lead Organiser has primary responsibility for ensuring the Branch is represented in operational discussions at the national level in relation to the organising plans.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
A commitment to and enthusiasm for trade unionism is essential, together with excellent communication, coaching and mentoring skills. Knowledge of contemporary industrial relations issues and practices and industry or trade union experience will be highly regarded.

| Salary: |
The position provides for a salary in the range of $67,629 - $74,327. Other attractive employment conditions are available, including 15% employer contribution to superannuation.
