Overview:

The ACTU Organising, Education and Campaign Centre, provides education and campaigning support to Australian unions affiliated to the ACTU. The education provision of the Centre is aimed at developing the skills and knowledge of organisers, union leaders, delegates and activists. The Centre also works with Unions to build comprehensive internal programs in order to strengthen capacity and grow. This work includes the development and implementation of campaigns, systems development and consultancy.

Job Description:

The Organising Centre now has a three (3) month vacancy for a Project Officer, based in the Centres Sydney Office. The position will be funded by AusAid, under the Australian Governments Community Call to Action grant scheme. The Project Officer will be responsible for the design, development and evaluation of a one-hour education module, booklet, DVD, and an online resource on the Millennium Development Goals and the Australian Aid Program.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential:

We would be interested in hearing from you if you have experience in the design and delivery of training modules for adult education, and are familiar with the Millennium Development goals and decent work agenda.

Salary:

$70,955 - $75,729 pro rata
